Athletics at Mountain Sage currently consist of 6th-8th Grade Cross Country in the fall and 5th-8th Grade Track & Field in the spring. Our teams participate in meets around Fort Collins and surrounding areas. Practice takes place at Mountain Sage after school. We are growing our athletics programs, so check back for updates!

All athletic programs require the submission of a completed and signed MSCS Athletic Participation Packet for each student athlete.

Middle School Cross Country

Absolutely no experience is needed to join our team. Just an open mind and heart and a decent pair of shoes. The goal of our team will be to have fun and build a solid foundation of technique and teamwork to support a lifetime of running.

Our 5th-8th graders will compete against other Northern Colorado schools through the Northern Colorado Independent League (NCIL).
Our 4th-5th graders will compete in the annual Poudre School District Physical Education Meet.
Our coaching staff is also currently in conversation with two other Northern Colorado middle schools about creating an annual Mountain Sage Track & Field Invitational. We will keep you posted as these conversations develop. We look forward to having your student join us this season!
